Sean established the firm in March 2017, following 15 years working in practice including qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and managing a large portfolio of clients since 2008. He studied Accountancy at University of Ulster graduating with a First Class Honours degree in 2004. Sean oversees all aspects of the firm with a particular expertise and passion in business improvement of owner managed businesses across Ireland and the UK. Some of his clients are market leaders in various sectors and at all ends of the business life-cycle. Most businesses Sean has managed since 2008 followed Sean into our firm and continue to be given a personalised service with a focus on building lasting relationships through exceeding client expectations. Outside of business, Sean has played top level Gaelic Football for 16 years, captaining Tyrone, Ulster and Ireland during that period. He currently also works with leading Irish TV station, RTE as a Gaelic Football analyst.
Lisa joined the firm in August 2017 having previously worked for 12 years in industry in an accounts environment. Lisa completed her exams in 2017 and specialises in construction, medical and retail accounts. She has vast knowledge of Tax compliance, including PAYE & CIS. Outside of work, Lisa’s hobbies include keep fit, farming and socialising, and she is a talented seamstress.
Mark studied Law with Politics at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating in 2010. He began working in a dedicated tax department in a mid-sized accountancy firm in Belfast in 2011 which has helped him gain vast experience in all areas of tax including individuals, sole traders, partnerships, corporation tax and inheritance tax. Mark became a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) in 2013 and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in 2015. He joined the firm as Tax Manager in September 2019 and is responsible for overseeing all UK and Irish tax filing requirements including all dealings with HM Revenue & Customs and Revenue Commissioners. Mark is a dedicated individual who is passionate about assisting clients with their tax affairs. His enthusiastic and personable approach helps ensure that clients are aware of their tax compliance requirements as well as potential tax planning opportunities available. Outside of work, Mark is a sports fanatic who follows a team in most sports. He is an avid follower of Man Utd, Armagh GAA and Ulster Rugby.
Head of Forensic Services
Ronan studied Accountancy at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating in 2012. He moved into working for a large multi-national company in Dublin, Paddy Power, where he gained great experience working on many aspects of the business including marketing. Ronan then moved to Belfast to work in a smaller family run business.
Noel joined the firm in April 2017 and has 13 years’ experience working in practice. He studied Accountancy at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating with a First Class Honours degree in 2005. He went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting at the University of Ulster and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. Noel has managed the Accounts and Tax functions of a large number of clients across a wide range of industries including construction, engineering, solicitors and other professional services, healthcare, agricultural and retail. He works with clients on an ongoing basis to provide up to date Management Information to assist with decision making and ensures that Accounting systems are up to date. As well as managing a client portfolio, Noel deals with day to day issues within the practice, including overseeing all dealings with HMRC, Revenue Commissioners, Companies House and Companies Registration office; and ensuring compliance with all filing requirements. He is also the initial point of contact for queries on accounting systems. This wide breadth of knowledge has resulted in Noel building trusted relationships with his clients. Outside of work, Noel is married with 2 young children and is a keen follower of all sports.
Cíara qualified from Queen’s University Belfast in 2015 with a degree in Land Use and Environmental Management with Professional Studies She went on to work in both the construction and environmental sectors, working on a daily basis with the public whilst also gaining great experience in payroll and accounts. Within the business Cíara is involved in our book keeping services which include VAT, Payroll, CIS/RCT for our UK and Irish clients. Outside of the business, Cíara enjoys sport, playing camogie with her local club Eglish. She enjoys travelling and recently embarked on a six month trip around the world which was an amazing life experience.
Manager - Accounts & Audit
Oonagh joined the firm in June 2018 after having worked in a medium sized practice in Mid Ulster for over 20 years. Oonagh manages a wide portfolio of small and medium sized businesses across a number of sectors including retail, engineering and agriculture. Oonagh has extensive experience working with growing businesses and performing audits for the public sector and Credit Unions.
Upon graduating from Queen’s University Belfast in 2013 with a 2:1 degree in Finance, Kathy moved to San Francisco, where she lived for five years before returning home to settle in Ireland.
Whilst in San Francisco, she worked in the accounting division of a large construction company and on returning to Ireland she decided to pursue her chartered qualification.
Outside of work, Kathy loves to travel. Having traveled North America extensively during her time in San Francisco, she now plans to explore Europe in the coming years.
Kathy is married and has just become the proud mum to a beautiful baby boy.
Ben studied Finance and Investment Management in Ulster University, graduating in 2019. He completed a year’s work experience in the accounts department of Belfast International Airport. Ben has gained other work experience in several other family run accountancy firms in the local area where he has developed a breadth of knowledge to help him pursue his career in Accountancy. Ben is currently enrolled and studying for his CAI exams. Outside of work, Ben enjoys many sports and he currently plays Gaelic football for his club Errigal Ciaran and also for Tyrone. He enjoys socialising and going on holidays when he can.
Jacqueline began her career in a high street bank, where she completed her CeMap examination and qualified as a mortgage adviser. After a period at home raising her kids, she returned to work and undertakes a pivotal role within the practice. She studied Economics at the University of Ulster, graduating in 2005 and also holds a Diploma in Industrial Studies. Jacqueline’s personable approach makes her the perfect fit in ensuring the practice runs smoothly. She is also the first point of contact for our clients as well as overseeing our book keeping services including VAT, Payroll, CIS/RCT for our UK and Irish clients. Outside of business, Jacqueline is married with three kids. She enjoys going for walks and days out with the family.
Specialist Tax Consultant
Colm leads our specialist tax team and is involved in large scale tax projects, including Research & Development claims, Capital Allowances reviews and Corporate Restructuring.
Suzanne has worked in an accounting function for the past 8 years, primarily in the legal sector where she worked as a legal book keeper responsible for processing and maintaining accounts, Payroll and VAT. Suzanne joined the firm in September 2019 after completing her Accounting Technician exams in the same year, and will continue to work in Payroll, Pension and CIS. Outside of work Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Zaira is trained in bookkeeping services and assists the rest of the team ensuring quality and timely submissions from both our Moy and Dundalk offices.
